2010. The future is hear. Still no great space odyssey or jet packs. This years New Year's resolutions will be to draw more and smoke less, make mo money and spend more time socially networking a.k.a dicking off on the world wide web net.

I have spent the last 6 months enjoying my new favorite hobby, being a dad.

It doesn't get much better than this. If I was indepently or abundantly wealthy all I would do is breed, breed, breed.

Getting back on track with tons of toons on the way. Heres a little taste with a flyer i just completed.

Hey family, friends, fans and stalkers. I’m back on the attack and in the immortal words of Ice Cube “Today I didn’t even have to use my a.k. I got to say it was a good day”. I am strangely at piece with myself and my surroundings at the days end. I made it though a complete Monday without wanting to wear some ones entrails as a trophy or make a superhero cape out of their skin. All is well for those of you who have been wondering what hole I have been hiding under. The baby is at 31 weeks and is growing stronger and super active. It wont be long now. Many blessing to my wonderful wife for harboring our creation.

I have managed to reform my life in the current madness and get back to drawing. Here is some gratuitous T&A for you. A little Black Cat action and a Mantra pinup commission. Thanks Michael.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD BEAT

Hey family, friends, fans and stalkers. Long time, no blog. I would like to apologize to my 3 fans who actually read this garbage for the long break. The offspring is on its way and I am running short on money, sleep and time. Two weeks ago, like any home owning mans man, I decide to start some home improvement and prenatal renovation……….It won’t happen again. The first move was to gut the part of the house that resembled a condemned mobile home and turn it into my studio/gym/office/2nd family room.

Step two is to turn this mess…….
………into a sweet N fluffy nursery before my wife decides to disembowel me in my sleep for procrastinating her nesting instinct for two months.

On the art tip here are a few pieces I did just for gits and shiggles and to help remind me that I still know how to draw.

GIFTS OF UTERINE EXPANSION

Hey family, friends, fans and stalkers. After much rain dancing and spirit conjuring, in this year of our lord, two thousand and eight, I, man, have created child. A genetic blend of me and my astonishing wife which will act as a symbiote inside her for the next nine months.

Beyond the typical mortal terrors and fears of a first time father, I am exuberant with the thought of this family growth and the opportunity to replant my family tree whose branches have become so twisted and mangled.

I have produced nothing artistic yet today so I will give this oldy sketch I did about ten years ago when I was still drawing real things. It was drawn from a picture by photographer Imogen Cunningham, entitled “Triangles”

Where are all of the new WilleyWorks pieces you ask? Or did you? Here is a run down of the recent commissioned big breasted comic book babes that the general eBay public seems to enjoy.

Thanks to all of you for your purchases, especially my small fan base of repeat customers who make me feel that there will always need to be drawings of big breasted comic babes and that it is not a wasted talent. It will continue to be one of my favorite late night hobbies.

My current long term secret project will be publishing “SCRAPS” a 80 page sketch book of never before seen WilleyWorks toons, sketches, color pieces, and revamps on old work. Wonderfully written by Matt D and illustrated by yours truly. This was our first attempt and the introduction book of a hopefully prosperous and fulfilling series.

Hey family, friends, fans and stalkers. It was early to rise on my day off to relax, play artist and family time, all in a matter of twelve hours. I will consider it a success. First off, for some design practice I made this logo for Travis and his band Gran Pappy’s Lap, that I had promised him way back in June during a drunkin trip back to the old country were I originated. In an attempt to revive my self from artist block I have redesigned the web site (again) for a cleaner more functional experience. Its about %75 finished, but up and running. Check in monthly for new pieces and some oldies but goodies. Check back at this blog for sneak peaks, roughs and other oddities that you will not see any where else unless you catch me doodling on company time at the day job on such master pieces like “Pawn Slip Square Pants”.
